激光粒度分析仪测试改性碳酸钙的方法

激光粒度仪测碳酸钙粒度的分布:一般碳酸钙(CaCO3)微粒因其良好的填加性能被广泛应用到涤料、塑料、造纸等其他多种化工行业,应用范围广泛。依其加工工艺和应用场合的不同,可分为表面改性与未改性的碳酸钙CaCO3,表面改性的CaCO3微粒在蒸馏水中易形成稳定的均匀分散的状态,用激光粒度仪可直接测出其粒径。而表面未改性的CaCO3则不然,对其分散性的研究实验数据如下:

测试结论:

1、改性CaCO3具有强烈的疏水性,故在无分散剂的状态下无法测试。

2、由于表面活性剂的加入大大降低了水的表面张力,它同酒精作分散介质时有相似的测试结果。两中方法均可。

3、由于表面活性剂的加入易起泡影响测试结果,所以用水作介质测试时适用于静态,而用酒精作分散介质时,静态、动态均可。

4、用酒精作介质时,加与不加电解质类分散剂结果差别不明显,故测试时可不加分散剂。
